You gotta read this stuff.

As many of you know, I have no love for the wacko Hollywierd elite, nor do I have any respect whatsoever for most of the main stream press out there. Here are seven pages of moronic quotes and looney soundbites with links to the original broadcasts. Take your time and enjoy these. Example below. Good Morning Morons Award

Matt Lauer in Baghdad: "Talk to me...about morale here. We’ve heard so much about the insurgent attacks, so much about the uncertainty as to when you folks are going to get to go home. How would you describe morale?"

Chief Warrant Officer Randy Kirgiss: "In my unit morale is pretty good. Every day we go out and do our missions and people are ready to execute their missions. They’re excited to be here."

Lauer: "How much does that uncertainty of [not] knowing how long you’re going to be here impact morale?"

Specialist Steven Chitterer: "Morale is always high. Soldiers know they have a mission. They like taking on new objectives and taking on the new challenges...."
Lauer: "Don’t get me wrong here, I think you are probably telling me the truth, but a lot of people at home are wondering how that could be possible with the conditions you’re facing and with the attacks you’re facing. What would you say to those people who are doubtful that morale can be that high?"

Captain Sherman Powell: "Sir, if I got my news from the newspapers also, I’d be pretty depressed as well."

Merry un-nammed and non exclusive and all inclusive and everyone...just forget it holiday

RE: Christmas Party

I'm happy to inform you that the company Christmas Party will take place on
December 23, starting at noon in the private function room at the Grill
House. There will be a cash bar and plenty of drinks! We'll have a small
band playing traditional carols...feel free to sing along. And don't be
surprised if our CEO show s up dressed as Santa Claus! A Christmas tree will
be lit at 1:00pm. Exchange of gifts among employees can be done at that
time; however, no gift should be over $10.00 to make the giving of gifts
easy for everyone's pockets. This gathering is only for employees! Our CEO
will make a special announcement at that time!

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

RE: Holiday Party

In no way was yesterday's memo intended to exclude our Jewish employees.
We recognize that Chanukah is an important holiday, which often coincides
with Christmas, though unfortunately not this year. However, from now on
we're calling it our "Holiday Party." The same policy applies to any other
employees who are not Christians or those still celebrating Reconciliation
Day. There will be no Christmas tree present. No Christmas carols sung. We
will have other types of music for your enjoyment.

Happy now?

Happy Holidays to you and your family.

RE: Holiday Party

Regarding the note I received from a member of Alcoholics Anonymous
requesting a non-drinking table ... you didn't sign your name. I'm happy to
accommodate this request, but if I put a sign on a table that reads, "AA
Only"; you wouldn't be anonymous anymore. How am I supposed to handle this?

Somebody?

Forget about the gifts exchange, no gifts exchange are allowed since the
union members feel that $10.00 is too much money and executives believe
$10.00 is a little chintzy.

NO GIFTS EXCHANGE WILL BE ALLOWED.

RE: Holiday Party

What a diverse group we are! I had no idea that December 20 begins the
Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which forbids eating and drinking during
daylight hours. There goes the party! Seriously, we can appreciate how a
luncheon at this time of year does not accommodate our Muslim employees'
beliefs. Perhaps the Grill House can hold off on serving your meal until
the end of the party- or else package everything for you to take it home in
little foil doggy baggy. Will that work?

Meanwhile, I've arranged for members of Weight Watchers to sit farthest
from the dessert buffet and pregnant women will get the table closest to
the restrooms.
Gays are allowed to sit with each other.
Lesbians do not have to sit with Gay men, each will have their own table.
Yes, there will be flower arrangement for the Gay men's table.
To the person asking permission to cross dress, no cross-dressing allowed
though.
We will have booster seats for short people.
Low-fat food will be available for those on a diet. We cannot control the
salt used in the food we suggest for those people with high blood pressure
to taste first. There will be fresh fruits as dessert for Diabetics, the
restaurant cannot supply "No Sugar" desserts. Sorry!

Did I miss anything?!?!?

RE: Patty Lewis and Holiday Party

I'm sure I speak for all of us in wishing Patty Lewis a speedy recovery and
I'll continue to forward your cards to her. In the meantime, management has
decided to cancel our Holiday Party and give everyone the afternoon of the
23rd off with full pay.

Happy Holidays!

Christmas 2005

We had our first Christmas party of the season tonight at Julie's parents. Here are some pictures of the party.

Over the river (Grand) and through the woods (Holton) to the Wilmots house we go...

Tonight we all piled into the car for the trip up to Fremont Michigan to visit with our friends the Jon and Beth and Jeff (Fetz) Cobb. As is the case when you get older and have families and kids and jobs and life, you tend to lose touch with friends of old. Well we don't think that has to be the case. Julie and I, Jon and Beth and Jeff were able to take time out of our busy lives to have dinner together and try and catch up.

We had a good time with one another. But my how things change, kids running all over, having to leave at 7 pm cause it's getting late...!!! Amyway, here are some photos of the evening.

Ying and Yang

We have two cats..Woody (Woodrow Wilson Kuiper) and Rosie (Teddy Roosevelt Kuiper). They are like two pees in a pod, you don't hardly see one without the other. They especially like our new bed....It seems they might enjoy it more than we do in fact.

It's kinda soupy today.

For lunch today, we all had soup, it was just kind of a good soup day, cold outside, warm inside. Abby was trying to "slurp" her soup from a big spoon, more of landed on her lap than in her mouth, but that's not what mattered, it was the effort to try something new. Josh is just starting to get over having a very bad cold and the "krupe"SP? cough. His voice sounds like Gollum from the Lord of the Rings right now. Anyway, here are some photos of the soup adventure.
