While attempting to distance myself from being obsessed with all things political, there are still some things that really bug me. Take the above headline. It seems a Jewish Rabbi complained the jewish religion being left out of the holiday scene at the Seattle airport. Instead of just agreeing to place some jewish symbols up as well as the "Holiday" trees, they just said, fine, everything comes down.
I mean, come on people, when is this "un-Christing" of Christmas going to stop. I will tell you, when the holiday as a whole is deamed too offensive and it is dropped as a national holiday. You think I am being paranoid? I don't think so. I see a day in the not too distant future when this happens with Christmas and Easter.
Without sounding too partisan, especially if the God-haters we call liberals continue to gain power, as I believe they will. It's truly only a matter of time. Is it seriously too late to turn this ship around? I hope not, be we seem as if we are a one way course heading for a God-less society. Is seems as if there is nothing we can do about it other than continue to vote our conscience and leave the rest to God.
I hate to sound like such a downer, but I think it's reality. This nation that I love very much needs a God-overhaul and unless God does it, which he can, we going along for the ride. The devil is the ruler of this world, and he has free reign for a time. The good ol US or A is riding a fine line right now, we can and should continue to do our best to push it toward the "right" side.
