We are having a puppy!!! Well, not us exactly, but we are getting a puppy. We are all pretty excited at the Kuiper house. The kids have already named it "biscuit" after their favorite storybook dog. That might change, Julie and I are not too fond of the name, it lacks a "little white dog" feel.
We are getting a little white dog, it is actually an American Eskimo dog. We did quite a bit of research and this breed really caught our attention. It's small, good with kids and cats and smart.
We don't know exactly which of the pups in the attached photo we are going to get yet, there are two people who are ahead of us that get to choose first, but I don't think we can go wrong with any of the three.
The pups are currently living in New York State. In a town near Albany called Richfield Springs. It's about a 12 hour drive I believe. We could have the pup shipped, but the cost is a bit much and I would hate to do that to a little puppy. The breeder might meet us in Ohio, which would be nice, but I am not counting on it.
In the end, I believe I might be in for a long drive. Anyone for a road trip?
Anyway, we pick up the little guy after the second week in March...
